What isBenefitsUses

The constant evolution of the medium and high-speed parts feeding sector forces us to provide the necessary solutions to meet the needs of each customer.

WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF CENTRIFUGAL MECHANICAL FEEDERS?

Centrifugal Mechanical Feeders have the same function as Vibratory Feeders, i.e. to create a flow of parts positioned at a given rate, but their driving force is based on the action of an electric motor, generally a three-phase motor which, by means of a combination of gears (reducer) transmits a rotational force to the specific element (plate) which has the task of selecting and orienting the parts arranged in bulk on it.

The operating system is based on the drive of a flat or conical rotating disc. The parts rotate with the disc and, due to the centrifugal force, move towards the outside of the edge of the disc where the appropriate selectors are arranged for each case in order to allow only the parts that present the determined position for their evacuation to pass through.

MODELS OF MECHANICAL FEEDERS

Various models are available depending on the speed requirements, the number of parts to be fed and their shape: the diameters of the receptacles range from 400 mm to 1,200 mm and the feed speed can be between 25 and 60 m/min.; therefore, high speeds can be achieved for light and rotary parts, allowing, within certain geometric shapes, deliveries of up to 25,000 parts per hour.

Its positioning reliability is ideal for discs, caps, plugs and any other non-shading revolution shapes.

MAIN FEATURES OF CENTRIFUGAL FEEDERS

This equipment is usually used in installations in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, packaging and bottling industries which, due to technological advances and market needs, have developed their machines with a view to maximum production.
However, it should be borne in mind that all the elements used to orient the parts in a certain way come into contact with them, so this method can have disadvantages, especially for parts that require delicate treatment or that are susceptible to friction.

CHARACTERISTICS OF MECHANICAL CENTRIFUGAL FEEDERS

With regard to the features and characteristics of our mechanical feeders, we can highlight:

USES OF MECHANICAL FEEDERS

The use of a Centrifugal Mechanical Feeder is ideal for simple parts and where the primary purpose is to achieve a high feed rate. It can be instrumented to meet the particular needs of each user, or it can be supplied without accessories. Our company, in its desire to evolve with the needs of our customers, combines two basic concepts in the mechanical feeder: simplicity of use and practical efficiency of handling.
